Decision-making style structure of Slovenian sports managers

Purpose: Decisions that we make are always burdened with consequences, which the inevitable result of our decision-making. The decision-making style (DMS) is way in managers acquire, process and use information processes. goals present research to define factor structure DMS for a sample Slovenian sports determine characteristics their structure. Methods: 80 organizations filled an anonymous internet survey. was measured General Decision-Making Style Inventory (GDMS), translated into language. GDMS questionnaire measures five different styles: rational, intuitive, dependent, avoidant spontaneous. analysis (FA) method used test assumption about DMS. internal consistency using Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Pearson correlation coefficient study relationship between Results: After three successive implementations FA, developed optimized model 20 items confirming when making decisions, combination all mostly rational dependent DMS, indicating they decision-makers.
